Review: Nikon 50mm f/1.4G

The Nikon Nikkor 50mm f/1.4G is an incredible little lens. At 50mm, it's not too wide or too tight. I can shoot all day with this lens. I like this lens a lot because it's small, it's light and it doesn't scare my subject. The auto focus is very accurate (most of the time) and very consistent. It's acceptably sharp wide open. I normally shot this lens wide open at f/1.4 or sometimes at f/2 but I rarely go beyond f/2.

I have used this lens for Wedding, News Assignment, Portraits. It never let me know. At f/1.4 couple with the Nikon D3S, I can shoot at surprisingly low light level. My only complaints for this lens are the cheap quality feel and the auto focus is not very fast. It takes forever to go from MFD to Infinity. Sometimes it feels like eternity.
Here are some examples from this lens.
