Photo of the Day: Red Light

Sarah & Danny Pre-Wedding Photo Shoot in Bangkok, Thailand.
I asked Sarah and Danny, very lovely couple, to stand in the middle of the road during red light and to my surprise, they did it. We had originally planned to shoot at Rod Fai Park but about an hour into the shoot, it rained so we have to switch to our back up plan. We went to Siam and Silom in plain clothes. No fancy lighting setup, not even an on-camera flash. I shot the entire pre-wedding shoot with Nikon D3S and 3 lenses - 24-70mm f/2.8, 50mm f/1.4, 85mm f/1.4. Why such a simple setup? I needed to move fast and don't want to attract any unnecessary attention. The street of Bangkok was our studio.

Photo of the Day: Self Reflection

A child looks at her self-reflection on a window at Sukhothai Hotel, Bangkok, Thailand.
I had a fun day today shooting a young girl at Sukhothai Hotel in Bangkok. Made tons of great pictures. The hard part was getting down low -- camera had to be at her eyes level.

This picture was shot with Nikon D3S + 85mm f/1.4 at 1/320 f/1.4 ISO 800 and processed with Adobe Lightroom.
